The aim of the Physical Education and Sports Club is to ensure that our students acquire basic sporting information, skills, attitudes and habits, that they play and compete in friendly fashion, and that they make sport a part of their lives. The objectives include making our students understand the benefits of sports to health, building their self-confidence through engagement in the universal activity of sport, increasing their inclination to enrich their lives with sporting activities as a philosophy of life, developing their sense of time management and responsibility through regular exercise, and acquainting them with the experiences of winning and losing. The basic rules of various branches of athletics, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball and football are taught, while basic skills are acquired in Physical Education and Sports classes. Tennis courts, an indoor sports hall, an indoor swimming pool, a gym with mirrors, table tennis facilities and outdoor basketball, volleyball and playing fields are available for the use of students on campus. School basketball, swimming, volleyball, athletics and table tennis teams train five days a week under the supervision of expert trainers and have represented our school with success in provincial and national championships.
