The science project studies at our school continue to bear fruit. An article written by our 12th grade students Arda Şen and İbrahim Emre Erden was published in the Digital Health journal of the Sage Publication group, which is included in the Q1 index in the academic publishing world with an impact value of 4.4.
Arda and Emre pioneered an artificial intelligence tool to be created by developing an algorithm that traces patients’ symptoms and medical histories, processes electronic health records and automates them, with the ability of reaching more accurate results. The impact of automatic history-taking software on data quality in the cardiology outpatient clinic: Retrospective observational study” has passed the controls of the editorial committee consisting of leading academics in their fields and was qualified to be published in the Digital Health journal of the Sage Publication group. The journal is in the Q1 category, which has the world’s most prestigious impact value in its field.
This study aims to improve the quality and efficiency of cardiology examinations by optimizing clinical workflows with AACE forms that provide more comprehensive, organized and accurate patient information compared to traditional physician-led history taking methods.
This science project, which our students had previously applied to the TÜBİTAK High School Students Research Projects Competition, was eliminated by the competition jury and was not deemed worthy of the regional exhibition.
