Guidance and Psychological Counselling services which constitute the essence of helping the individual, are the process of a systematic and professional assistance that acts with the collaboration of the student, parent and teacher in order for students to get to know and understand themselves, to take responsibility for their decisions, to be aware of the opportunities around them, to make the right choices within their own means, to develop different perspectives on the problems they experience and to realize themselves.<\/p>\n

The objectives of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance of<\/strong> Adapazar\u0131 ENKA High School;<\/strong><\/p>\n

-To support the social, emotional and academic development of students by taking individual differences into consideration,<\/p>\n

-To enable individuals to get to know themselves,<\/p>\n

-To help them improve their problem-solving skills,<\/p>\n

-To enable them to maintain positive relationships with people around them,<\/p>\n

-To raise productive and socially sensitive individuals.<\/p>\n

The fundamental principles of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance of<\/strong> Adapazar\u0131 ENKA High School;<\/strong><\/p>\n

The services provided by the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance of<\/strong> Adapazar\u0131 ENKA High School;<\/strong><\/p>\n

-Psychological Counseling,<\/p>\n

-Sessions to get to know the individual,<\/p>\n

-Orientation,<\/p>\n

-Publishing,<\/p>\n

-Protective and preventive studies,<\/p>\n

-Educational and professional counseling.<\/p>\n

The method followed during the counseling process is not giving advice, lecturing, forcing students to adopt and practice a course of action that is assumed to be correct. On the contrary, it is to ensure that students are individuals who can make the necessary assessment in terms of recognizing the options available in their own living conditions and choosing the appropriate one for them.<\/p>\n
