A group of 45 middle and high school students visited Paris and Geneva as part of a 5-day tour program full of history, science, and culture. The trip took place between 7-11 May.<\/p>\n
On the first day of the trip, students visited important places, such as the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, Charles de Gaulle Square, the Champs-Elysees Boulevard and the Eiffel Tower to explore the historical sites of Paris. On the second day, they had a full day of fun at Disneyland Paris.<\/p>\n
Then, the students went to Switzerland and visited CERN, the world’s largest particle physics laboratory. Students who attended laboratory workshops as part of their CERN visit had the pleasure of revealing their scientific curiosity and finding answers to their questions.<\/p>\n
In addition, we visited CERN’s new education centre, CERN Science Gateway, and the scientists at CERN. Through applied experiments, the students had the chance to discover how colliders and computing systems are used in their work and the benefits of this technology to humanity through innovative and inspiring experiences.<\/p>\n
Upon their arrival at Geneva, the students visited the Olympic Museum and the Museum of the History of Science, accompanied by the magnificent view of Lake Leman. They visited the places where the agreements, regarding the history of the foundation of the Turkish Republic, were made in the cities of Lausanne and Montreux.<\/p>\n
On the last day of their trip, the students spent free time in Geneva city centre and enjoyed the atmosphere the city offered.<\/p>\n
In addition to making new friendships, the students who took part in this unforgettable adventure also learned a lot in cultural and academic terms, contributing to their scientific and cultural development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
