Organised by the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of National Education and aiming to improve the quality of life of individuals with special needs, the \u2018Designs Overcoming Barriers Competition\u2019 hosted innovative projects in the 2024-2025 academic year. In this meaningful competition, which took place with the participation of primary, middle and high school students, we were very proud in the high school category!<\/p>\n
The \u2018Barrier-Free Road\u2019 mobile application project, developed by our prep class students Eyl\u00fcl \u00dcye and Eyl\u00fcl K\u00f6ro\u011flu, was designed to enable visually impaired individuals to move around the city more freely and safely. This project, which attracts attention with its artificial intelligence-supported voice assistant, emergency button and GPS-based instant directions, was highly appreciated by the jury. \u2018Barrier-Free Road\u2019 was awarded the second prize in the high school category, proving once again the creativity, sensitivity and problem-solving competences of our students.<\/p>\n
We congratulate Eyl\u00fcl \u00dcye and Eyl\u00fcl K\u00f6ro\u011flu for their impressive achievement and thank Umut G\u00f6k\u00e7e, their counsellor teacher, who contributed to the development of the project.<\/p>\n
