ENKA becomes an SAT Testing Center

We are proud to announce that ENKA has become an SAT Testing Center. Last week, on October 5th, we held our first SAT test.

The SAT (the Scholastic Aptitude Test) is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is a three hour long multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board. It includes Math and Reading sections, with the highest possible score being 1600 (800 points per section). This test is taken by Grade 11 and 12 students. The Pre-SAT (which will also be administered at ENKA), is for Grade 10 and 11 students.

Due to the limited number of SAT test centers in Turkey, our students used to have to travel to Gebze or other areas for the opportunity to take the test.

ENKA is an open test center, which means students from other schools are also able to take their exams here, so students need to be prompt about registering to take the test.

In the past, we have had approximately 50% of students take the SAT test:

Class of 2020: 43/81
Class of 201943/79
Class of 2018: 32/67
Class of 2017: 33/68
