The school’s Health Department, which consists of two nurses, provides preventive health, treatment, and polyclinic services for students and staff. The department also informs the parents about students\u2019 health issues and treatments and ensures hygienic conditions in all school departments. The Health Department organizes all obligatory vaccination programs required by the Ministry of Health and all other vaccination programs. The school’s Health Department informs the school administration and parents about contagious diseases, attends the monthly meetings of the school menu committee, and checks the catering staff in school as well as the kitchens. They also inform the administration about measures that need to be taken to address possible health threats in school. The school’s Health Department offers first aid training for staff and provides medical support for the organizations held at school.<\/p>\n

Our infirmary has an examination and intervention room, a patient room with two beds, and a patient information desk. The infirmary has all the necessary medical equipment for examination, emergency reaction, and clinical monitoring.<\/p>\n

In addition, in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No:6331- dated June 30, 2012, we have an Occupational Health and Safety Department which is responsible for the health of all staff and which monitors the working conditions and educational environments to prevent health and security risks and taking precautionary, protective working measures.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, an independent company carries out hygiene inspections in the kitchen and throughout the school. Their evaluation results in school measures to address any actionable issues.<\/p>\n

A sanitation center carries out the school drinking water\u2019s bacteriological and chemical analyses every quarter. An independent company inspects the water five times every month. Moreover, the school’s medical waste is collected every month by a special contractor.<\/p>\n

All of our students have \u201cpersonal accident insurance\u201d against possible accidents during the school hours, \u201cseat\u201d insurance against possible accidents on the school buses, and \u201cfinancial responsibility\u201d insurance against possible accidents in the school cafeterias.\u00a0 In addition, we have a yearly agreement with a professional ambulance service for any type of medical emergency at school.<\/p>\n
