{"id":14863,"date":"2019-07-26T09:58:12","date_gmt":"2019-07-26T06:58:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.enka.k12.tr\/kocaeli\/?p=14863"},"modified":"2020-09-04T15:40:22","modified_gmt":"2020-09-04T12:40:22","slug":"2019-germany-summer-internship-program-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.enka.k12.tr\/kocaeli\/en\/2019-germany-summer-internship-program-2\/","title":{"rendered":"2019 Germany Summer Internship Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The students who were chosen from the Chemistry, Automation and Machinery departments of Anatolian Technical High School completed their summer internship programs in the city of Essen, Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The students from the Machinery and Automation Departments did their internship at RWE which is one of the five largest electricity and gas companies in Europe. Our students from the Chemistry Department completed their summer internship programs at the University of Duisburg-Essen University, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Detlef Diesing, on a project based on the investigation of the behavior of organic acids during titration with strong bases and observation of their interaction with activated charcoal.<\/p>\n<p>Beside internship programs, our students also took part in various social responsibility projects. Within the frame of the program, cultural visits to Essen, Berlin, Cologne, D\u00fcsseldorf and Amsterdam were organize during off-hours.<br \/>\nWe would like to thank our sister school, Berufskollegs Essen-West, which organizes the internship programs; our sister school teacher<br \/>\nMahmut ULUDA\u011e and the head of Chemistry Department Mevl\u00fct ERDO\u011eAN who accompanied our students throughout their internship programs.
