For her talk on nanotechnology, we hosted Associate Professor Dr. Nesrin Horzum Polat, from Izmir Katip Celebi University. She has studies on filtration, sensing, energy applications of polymeric and hybrid nanofibers, as well as smartphone-based sensors for water quality monitoring and glucose detection, and also has about 50 scientific peer-reviewed publications, 2 book editorships and more than 20 scientific projects. During the talk, while our students were getting information on nanotechnology, they had the opportunity to ask what they were wondering about both the subject and other fields of study of our teacher.<\/p>\n
