Abdurrahman EKE, who is the leader of Kocaeli AKUT Team, established in 1995 and the first voluntary search and rescue association in T\u00fcrkiye, was our guest. Providing awareness training and medical support, AKUT participates in many search and rescue associations both in T\u00fcrkiye and around the world. Abdurrahman EKE, who has been a Kocaeli AKUT volunteer since 2005, currently continues his duty as Kocaeli AKUT Team Leader and has taken part in many operations. Lastly he took charge in Hatay Iskenderun during the 6th February 2023 Kahramanmara\u015f-centered earthquake.<\/p>\n

In the Earthquake Awareness Seminar, detailed information about AKUT was given, and questions such as : What is an earthquake, what should we do before, during and after the earthquake, and some other questions that our students wondered were answered. We would like to thank Abdurrahman EKE and AKUT for the informative presentation.<\/p>\n
