Sustainability Club and Art Club students of our school organized a day trip to Karacabey, Bursa in order to draw attention to the importance of biodiversity.<\/p>\n

First, Celal Acar Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, also known as Ovakorusu Bear Sanctuary, located in Ovakorusu, was visited. With the guidance of Azizcan Sezer, our students got a lot of information about the rescued 75 bears, some primates, bird species and even wolves being hosted in the shelter and had the opportunity to feed the bears.<\/p>\n

Our second stop was Karacabey Floodplain Forest. Our trip continued with the forest ecosystem, plants, birds, bird observation tower and boat tour and ended in Eskikaraa\u011fa\u00e7 Stork Village. We met Yaren Stork and Uncle Adem, whose fame goes beyond the borders of our country.<\/p>\n
