On Wednesday, 10 December 2025, we welcomed the esteemed author I\u015f\u0131k \u00d6\u011f\u00fct\u00e7\u00fc to our school. During the interview, the author provided comprehensive insights into Orhan Kemal’s literary legacy. He also shared fascinating details about the significant turning points in Orhan Kemal’s life, his approach to writing, and answered questions from our students about the book \u00d6nce Ekmek.<\/p>\n

This meeting, which was extremely productive for the students, was an event that re-emphasised the importance of Orhan Kemal in the social memory. We would like to thank the esteemed I\u015f\u0131k \u00d6\u011f\u00fct\u00e7\u00fc for this wonderful discussion, who also signed our students’ books at the end of the event.<\/p>\n
