Diplomacy in the Heart of Utrecht: Future Leaders at URUMUN!
Our students, accompanied by their advisor teachers Şeyma ŞAN KARAGÜN and Hasan ÖZLEM, participated in the URUMUN 2026 conference hosted by Utrecht University between April 29 and May 3. Within the framework of the theme “Collective Security: Cooperative Responses to Global Threats,” our delegates actively engaged in addressing current global issues and demonstrated strong public speaking and negotiation skills, gaining valuable experience in international diplomacy.
Following the conference, the group visited Amsterdam, exploring its historical and cultural landscape through a hands-on learning experience. From its canals to its museums, the city provided an enriching environment that broadened our students’ global perspectives. After this academically and culturally rewarding journey, our students returned to school with valuable insights and achievements.
