ENKATECH ROBOT TEAM ( #6985 )
As the Enkatech Robot Team, we have been entitled to receive various awards in the competitions we have participated in since 2017. We have been deemed worthy of many different awards. Thanks to the achievements we have earned, we had the opportunity to represent our country at the international finals held in the United States. This team, which we established, continues to grow and develop every day under the guidance of our students. In addition to building robots, it has shown great progress in many areas such as teamwork, division of labor, communication, safety, foreign language skills, and algorithmic thinking.
WHAT IS FIRST?
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)
It was founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen. Its purpose is to increase young people’s interest in science and technology.
The First Robotics Competition (FRC) is a robotics competition organized every year by the FIRST Foundation. Each year, within the framework of a theme, teams try to overcome specific challenges with the robots they build.
The first FRC took place in 1992 in a gymnasium in New Hampshire with the participation of 28 teams. Now, more than 250,000 students from the USA, Canada, Israel, Mexico, Australia, Turkey, China, Brazil, Chile, the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and Turkey take part in FRC.
