SASMO Math Olympiad

SASMO Math Olympiad

Founded in 2006, the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) is one of Asia’s largest mathematics competitions and a prestigious international event. The competition aims to develop students’ mathematical intuition while enhancing their analytical thinking, problem-solving, logical reasoning, creative thinking, and critical thinking skills. It also seeks to foster a greater interest in mathematics among students.

The first round of the SASMO examination was held at our school on March 29, 2026, with the participation of 15 students. Our students achieved remarkable success: 6 students were awarded Gold, 3 students Silver, 5 students Bronze Medals, and 1 student was honored with a Certificate of Merit.

The final stage of SASMO, commonly known as the Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC), is traditionally held in Singapore in July. We wish our students who have qualified for the finals the very best of success and congratulate all our students and teachers whose dedication and hard work contributed to these outstanding achievements.

At ENKA, success is not a coincidence—it is a tradition.
