Our Maker Club students participated in the “Istanbul Maker Faire 2017” event hosted by Haydarpaşa station of Istanbul on 27-29 October.

What is this “Maker Culture”?

“Making / Producing” are two important trends in human nature. Whether it is cooking, building a home, producing a project, creating a work of art, this desire is dominant in all areas of life.

Maker Culture emphasizes on this tendency and aims to make affordable and easily accessible channels where creativity can be used spread through Maker Culture.

It is an international festival where people who enjoy learning and who are happy to share what they do, come together and celebrate their own creations.

Maker Fair transforms the “making / producing” tendency of human beings into a “narrate and show” action and acts as a common stage for exhibiting projects by bringing engineers, artists, scientists, and craftsmen together.

Our students display their robotics, humanoid hands, remote controlled lego cars, and other lego structures at the historic Istanbul Haydarpaşa Station exhibit.
