On Febuary 22, 2018, we participated in the 3-day Georgetown University Qatar MUN (Model United Nations) conference, where United Nations meetings are simulated in terms of structure and content, by high school students. This cultivating event took place in Doha. The entire event was held in English, hence gave our students the opportunity to discuss, debate, write, and give speeches about global issues, then draft resolutions that can lead to sustainable solutions. Meanwhile, they bonded with students from other countries and developed their social communication skills. Our school attended the Qatarmun program with 12 students among 10th and 11th graders. We wish our student delegates success in their diplomatic debates.
