ROBOTINO

A Robotino is a robot for educational purposes, made by Festo. It is used in training. It has a camera on top for image processing, another camera for moving images, nine distance sensors, an inductive sensor underneath for metal tracking, and two sensors to help with tracking.

There is an annual event organised by the Ministry of National Education and TUBITAK (the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). This event was set up to help develop students’ software intelligence.

Every year, our students form teams to participate in the competition.
