Erasmus+ Mobility in Regensburg for a Sustainable Future
Our students developed their European perspectives through international collaborations, academic studies, and cultural experiences.
Our school participated in the learning and teaching mobility carried out in the city of Regensburg, Germany, as part of the Erasmus+ project “The Green Path – The Future for Europe’s Next Generations.” The project is being implemented between 2026 and 2028.
During this mobility, which took place between 7–14 March 2026, five of our students represented our school and participated in the activities under the guidance of our teachers Ayşe Özgür Güçer and Enes Gider. The project is carried out under the coordination of Belgium with the partnership of Türkiye, Germany, Poland, Italy, and Austria.
Throughout the program, our students participated in various workshops organized within the host school FOSBOS Regensburg and carried out several academic studies in cooperation with international teams in line with the themes of sustainability and environmental awareness. In this context, they successfully completed their presentation on hydroponic farming (soilless agriculture) and made a significant contribution to the project. As the project languages are English and German, our students had the opportunity to use and improve their foreign language skills actively.
In addition to academic studies, within the scope of social and cultural activities, our students visited the Mayor of Regensburg in his office and gave an interview about the project. They also attended lessons on sustainable buildings and architecture at OTH Regensburg University and Eckert Schulen. By participating in visits to the BMW Museum, Allianz Arena, and city tours of Regensburg, they had the opportunity to closely experience the cultural and historical richness of the host country.
This mobility not only contributed to the academic and social development of our students but also enabled them to strengthen their global perspectives by interacting with different cultures.
