Our Citizens of Tomorrow at MUN ROME 2026

Our students, accompanied by their advisor teacher Müge Demircan, attended the International Model United Nations Conference in Italy, organised by MUN Europe in Rome for high school and university students under the theme “Citizens of Tomorrow.”

Our participants took part in two committees: GA (General Assembly) and UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). Representing the countries of Pakistan, Ecuador, South Africa, Uruguay, Malaysia, Vietnam, Peru, Panama, Thailand, and the Dominican Republic, they collaborated with fellow delegates to negotiate and propose ideal solutions to pressing global challenges.

Throughout the debate sessions, our delegates worked alongside their peers from different parts of the world and successfully developed and strengthened essential soft skills widely recognised today, including public speaking, negotiation, teamwork, time management, leadership, research, and academic writing.

On the last day of the conference, all participating schools were invited to the headquarters of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to attend the closing ceremony, where they were welcomed by the United Nations representatives and officers. This invaluable experience inspired our students to become active and responsible global citizens of tomorrow.

We proudly congratulate our delegates on their successful participation and thank them for representing our school with excellence and distinction.
