Established in 2014, our Science and Technology High School, with its modern education campus, qualified teaching staff, and well-equipped laboratories, aims to raise competent individuals who will carry the future of Türkiye to the position it deserves on the world stage.
The duration of education is 5 years, and intensive English education is provided in the preparatory year. German is taught as a second foreign language.
All students studying at our school receive full scholarships, and these scholarships are non-repayable. Educational services are provided free of charge, and university preparation studies are also carried out within the school.
In addition to the science high school curriculum, starting from the 10th grade, education in different fields is offered in line with students’ interests and goals. Students who are oriented toward the field of medicine are given applied genetics courses in the genetics laboratory, while students interested in engineering are supported with mechatronics and computer programming education.
In order to strengthen foreign language education, with the support of the Directorate of the Machinery Specialized Organized Industrial Zone, a certain number of our students are given the opportunity each year to participate in language education programs in England.
In addition to its rich library and digital resources, our school offers learning environments that support students’ academic and artistic development, including physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories; LEGO robot, model aircraft, and drone workshops; a science center, a visual arts workshop, and an orchestra rehearsal hall.
Our students achieve significant success in National and International Science Olympiads organized by TÜBİTAK, as well as in research project competitions, and take an active role in scientific projects carried out with universities and various institutions. With the contribution of the technical and programming education they receive, they also achieve degrees in various robot competitions.
Our school operates in a modern campus located within the Machinery Specialized Organized Industrial Zone in Kocaeli province, on a 30,750 m² green area with 15,000 m² of indoor space. Our Science and Technology High School is located in the same building as the Private ENKA Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School on the same campus; our students benefit jointly from facilities such as the cafeteria, sports hall, tennis court, football fields, and other campus facilities.
Within the scope of club activities, our students take active roles in various social fields such as Model United Nations, English drama, and social responsibility projects; in line with the sustainable campus approach, they carry out sustainability-themed activities together with other ENKA schools.
At our Science and Technology High School, the Private Science High School curriculum determined by the Ministry of National Education is implemented. In addition, our students are supported with the elective course “Introduction to Genetic Science,” which is offered starting from the 10th grade in line with their interests and abilities.
Within the scope of this course, our students have the opportunity to become familiar with the fundamental concepts of genetic science, follow current developments in the field of life sciences, and develop their scientific thinking skills. Through practical studies carried out in the genetics laboratory, our students reinforce their theoretical knowledge through experience while enhancing their scientific curiosity and research skills.
With this program, it is especially aimed to prepare students who are interested in the fields of medicine and life sciences for their academic journeys with a strong scientific foundation.
At our Science and Technology High School, in addition to the Private Science High School curriculum determined by the Ministry of National Education, our students are supported with studies oriented toward the field of engineering in line with their interests and abilities. Within the scope of the Mechatronic Systems course offered starting from the 10th grade, our students receive practical training in the automation workshop.
With this course, it is aimed for our students to acquire fundamental knowledge and skills in the fields of mechatronic systems, automation technologies, and computer programming. Through practical studies, our students have the opportunity to transform their theoretical knowledge into practice and develop an engineering perspective.
3D Printing Workshop
Our 3D Printing Workshop has been established to improve our students’ technological production skills and to support their project work. The printers available in the workshop are used in the production of models designed by students, as well as in robot competitions and Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects.
In this workshop, our students gain hands-on experience in design and production processes using design programs such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX, as well as production software such as Cura, Simplify3D, Z-Suite, and MakerBot.
