A Journey into the Nano World with GTU Nanotechnology Institute
Gebze Technical University Nanotechnology Institute hosted our 10-EF class chemistry and automation students on December 8, 2025. During the visit, which was conducted under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şölen Kınayyiğit, our students received firsthand information about current studies in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
During the trip, many laboratories were visited and the ongoing projects were presented, primarily focusing on Nanomagnetism and Spintronics, Micro/Nano Device Fabrication, Nanocatalysis and Clean Energy, Nanobiomaterials, NanoTex, Smart Materials, Nanomaterial Simulation and Hybrid Quantum Sensor Technologies.
These studies, conducted with an interdisciplinary approach and bringing together design, simulation, and production processes at the nanoscale, have increased our students’ scientific curiosity and career awareness. We thank the valuable academics of GTU Nanotechnology Institute for their interest and contributions.
