Our team of 15 students and 1 teacher from our school’s Astronomy Club students attended the Observation Nights organized by Istanbul University. The activities that took place within this framework were Dr. Tansel AK’s presentation and interview, the visit of the historical observatory built by Atatürk in 1933, a visit to the Museum of Astronomy of W.Gleissber, observations of Mars, Saturn , Moon and the Planetarium Show. During the event, students had the opportunity to ask questions about astronomy which added new information to their astronomy knowledge.
