Our student Dilay DAL is representing our country at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s largest pre-university scientific research exhibition, organized by Intel in the USA, where approximately 1700 students from over 80 countries are invited every year. She is going to present her project to the ISEF jury on 5th May.
Our 12th grade Anatolian Technical High School student Dilay, with the “SUMRO (Symmetric Upper-limb Mapping Robotic prOsthesis) project” that she had prepared under the consultancy of our Physics teacher Ömer Faruk ALEMDAR, won the first place in the field of Physics at the TUBITAK Istanbul Regional Exhibition last year and participated in the Ankara / Turkey finals and received the second place. To be the representative of Turkey at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), among the projects that had received a degree, participants had to present their projects online and in English to TUBITAK. Dilay was also successful at this presentation and entitled to represent our country at ISEF.
Dilay’s project link on ISEF’s website is below. Our student is participating in the category of Robotics and Intelligent Machines (ROBO). https://projectboard.world/isef/project/robo002—robotic-prosthesis-helps-amputees-to-walk?rc=ynlgwmgy
