Our art club students visited the exhibition “Russian Avant-garde, Dreaming the Future with Art and Design” displayed at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum on Sunday, March 24th. For this exhibition, which is the most comprehensive exhibition in Turkey of Russian avant-garde trend that shapes the 20th century world art, 513 pieces chosen from Europe’s private prominent collections came together in Turkey for the first time. At the same time, the exhibition “Osman Hamdi Bey Beyond the Appearance” including the works of Osman Hamdi Bey, who has an important place in our art history, and the findings of the techniques used by the artist, was also visited in the Sakıp Sabancı Museum Collection at The Mansion with the Horse. At the end of the day, our students had the opportunity to see artists who shed light on art history.
