Our 12th grade Anatolian Technical High School student Dilay DAL received a grand prize and a special award in the ISEF Science and Engineering Project Competition, one of the world’s most prestigious international project competitions, held in the USA, in which approximately 1800 students from over 80 countries took part. Our student, with her “SUMRA (Symmetric Upper-limb Mapping Robotic Prosthesis) Project” took the first place in the field of Physics at the TÜBİTAK Istanbul regional exhibition last year, and participated in the Turkey finals in Ankara and received the second prize. Thanks to her degree, the project was chosen by TUBITAK as one of the projects that would represent Turkey in the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), which is organized by Intel every year in the USA. In ISEF 2021, held this month, there was a great success that made us all proud. We congratulate our student, our teachers and her family who contributed to her upbringing.
