We were in Üsküdar Tebessüm Cafe with the concept of ” Down Cafe ”, where youngsters with down syndrome are given the oppurtunity to acknowledge their potentials and integrate into social life. Culture-and-Literature Club students were welcomed in a friendly atmosphere in this visit where they contributed their volunteering efforts for community service. The work discipline, smiles, and warm welcome of the employees with Down Syndrome, gave us a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. They showed us that with laughter there were no obstacles in life and everything done with love can touch hearts. We would like to thank all the students and teachers who took part in this study.
