First stop of our trip was Afyon. The ruins of Hittites, Lydians, Byzantines, Seljuks, the Ottoman Empire were carefully examined. Our students also visited the residents of the region called Phrygian Valley. We then went to the town of Kocatepe Martyrdom, which had played an important role in both the battle of the Commander-in-Chief, and in winning the war of liberation. The Afyon Castle, an extinct volcanic mountain was our next stop. The next day we drove to Eskişehir, the second city of our tour. After a glimpse of a panoramic view of the city from the Waterfall Park in Eskişehir, the students visited touristic sights like Culture Park, Sazova Science and Culture Park, Porsuk Brook, Wax Museum, Odun Pazarı. Students returned home with the joy and excitement of learning through travel and exploration.
