We were there as book lovers on the second big day of the 36th Tüyap Istanbul Book Fair. In Tuyap, where many publishing houses and non-governmental organizations from Turkey and abroad participate, our students have visited bookstands and bought books. Students had the chance to get autographs from their favorite authors. İlber Ortaylı had a book signing and conversation session for “Ataturk and the Republic”. Our students returned with loads of books.
