“International Butterfly Robotics Olympiads” organized for the 4th time this year by Gebze Technical University was held with the participation of 310 competitors in 4 different categories. In the field of life technologies without disabilities, our students F. Orhan KARAMAN, M. Rafet HELVACI, Z. Ceyda YILMAZ and Berranur ERGÜN got the second place with the smart gloves project called “Translator”, with the designed game, which enables hearing-impaired individuals to communicate with healthy individuals vocally and textually and also provides easy learning opportunities for individuals who have just learned sign language . We congratulate our students for their success, and thank our teachers and families who contributed to their project.
