ENKA Schools’ Robotics team, ENKA TECH, took part in the World Championship of the First Robotics Competition between April 18th and 21st in Houston, USA. There were 405 teams in the competition, 15 of which were from Turkey. This year, ENKA İstanbul, Adapazarı, and Kocaeli Schools worked in cooperation for the first time. They were excited by their success. ENKA TECH students worked at Kocaeli ENKA to construct their robots. They created opportunities to practice by competing against other successful robots in their region. ENKA TECH students were invited to the World Championship in Houston due to their success at the regional competition in Istanbul. During the course of the World Championship, ENKA TECH students gained significantly more knowledge about robotics and paid a visit to NASA’s Houston Space Station, Houston Natural Science Museum, and Rice University.
We would like to congratulate our students for representing our school and country at this competition. We also thank our generous sponsors whose support allowed our students to take part in this international robotics championship.
