3rd Place in Türkiye at the TEKNOFEST Biotechnology Innovation Competition
TEKNOFEST, the world’s largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, took place at Atatürk Airport in İstanbul between September 17-21, under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.
Our team qualified to participate in the TEKNOFEST Biotechnology Innovation Competition finals and came 3rd in Türkiye in this category. Our 10th grade student Yeşim YILMAZ, our 11th grade student Şevval GENÇTÜRK and their advisor teacher Seden BAYKARA participated with their project titled “Investigation of the Effect of ZnO Bionanoparticles Produced by Green Synthesis Method on MCF-7, U87 and HUH7 Cancer Cells” which they prepared under the guidance of their advisor teacher Seden BAYKARA. Our students achieved great success in the category where a total of 1,500 people applied. We congratulate all the teachers and students who contributed to the project.
