The annual chess tournament, organized by the Youth and Sports Ministry, held its national finals this weekend. After achieving first prize in the Kocaeli provincial finals and winning first prize in the regionals held in Tekirdag, we participated in the Turkish Championship held May 2nd-6th, 2018 in the city of Kütahya.
Among 116 teams from 48 provinces and 598 athletes who competed, our team became 4th in the national tournament.
We are so proud of our students and congratulate them for giving us the good news on their homecoming. We wish them continued success in the upcoming competitions.
