Journey to Mannheim for the IDO 2026 International German Olympiad
The first and second-place titles in the Turkey National Preliminaries for the International German Olympiad have been awarded to our students from Private ENKA Science and Technology High School.
Two of our 10th-grade students, Kuzey İlhan and Elif Eslem Derici, participated in the national qualifiers for German language studies, achieving significant success through their outstanding performance. Following the evaluation process, Kuzey İlhan secured first place, earning the right to represent our country on the international stage. He will represent Turkey in the final round, which will take place from July 13–22, 2026, in Mannheim, Germany, with the participation of approximately 100 students from over 50 countries.
In the same competition, Elif Eslem Derici, also a 10th-grade student from our Science and Technology High School, achieved a significant milestone by securing second place and qualified to attend the PASCH Camp to be held in Yenişakran, İzmir, between June 30 and July 9, 2026.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our students on their achievements, and we thank them for representing our school with pride and success, as well as our German teacher, Meltem Köse, for her contributions throughout this process. We wish them continued success in the international competition where they will represent our country.
