DEPARTMENT OF
The Chemical Technologies department aims to train experts equipped with the scientific and professional knowledge required by the industry. Students gain proficiency in areas such as sampling, physical and chemical quality control, and qualitative, quantitative, and instrumental analysis, while also developing skills in chemical waste management and analytical thinking.
The curriculum includes comprehensive laboratory courses such as Basic Chemistry, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Professional Calculations, and Instrumental Analysis. In fully equipped workshops limited to 12 students, each student has the opportunity to engage in hands-on practice. This practical training involves the actual production of various chemicals used in daily life, such as soap, cologne, disinfectants, and cosmetics.
Students reinforce the scientific work discipline and practical skills acquired at school through summer internships at leading domestic and international companies. Opportunities for overseas internships—particularly for the top three students in the department—enable them to transform their theoretical knowledge into global field experience.
The program’s primary objective is to supply the industry with qualified engineer candidates and technical experts who are proficient in every stage of production—from quality control to R&D—and who meet the needs of strategic sectors such as healthcare, food, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and energy.
