The field of Industrial Automation Technology aims to train experts who possess the professional competencies required by the industry—in the light of scientific and technological advancements—and who accelerate production while enhancing quality. Students gain proficiency by keeping up with state-of-the-art technologies in areas such as computer-based automation systems and the control of robotic arms that replace human labor in production.
During the education process, important workshop courses such as Basic Industrial Applications, Mechatronic Systems, Factory Automation, Hydraulics-Pneumatics and PLC are offered. In fully equipped workshops consisting of a maximum of 12 students, each student has the opportunity to carry out individual practice by using all the necessary tools, equipment and devices.
Students reinforce the practical skills acquired in the workshops—developed through a scientific work discipline—by applying them in real-world settings via project competitions and summer internships. This process ensures the integration of the technological expertise gained at school with actual industrial production workflows.
The program’s primary objective is to supply the industry with qualified engineer candidates and technical specialists who are needed by strategic sectors—such as automotive, electrical-electronics, defense, and energy—and who have mastery over every stage of production, ranging from robotic systems to smart factory automation.
