DEPARTMENT OF
Machine Technology is one of the most rapidly-developing sectors in the world. In this sector, all kinds of machines are designed and produced from aviation to automotive industry, from defense industry to manufacturing industry. Students who graduate from the department of machinery technologies, which is spread over such a wide area, make a great contribution to employment in our country.
Our aim is to raise qualified individuals who can:
- embody what they imagine using two and three dimensional design programs,
- produce their designs on 3d printers,
- turn these designs into concrete objects on classical and computer-controlled benches by taking occupational health and safety measures,
- think spatially and analytically, and do business organization and planning.
CNC (Computer Aided Manufacturing) training is given in the Department of Machinery Technologies. Professional Development, Computer Aided Drawing, Technical Drawing, Basic Manufacturing Processes, Professional Painting, Manufacturing Processes, Computer Aided Design and Production (Cad / Cam), Production with Computer Controlled Machines (CNC), Hydraulic Pneumatic, Professional Foreign Language courses are given in our field. A maximum of 12 students receive education in our workshops, and each student has the opportunity to perform all applications individually.

Our students practise the design and manufacturing processes by taking the training of Autocad, Solidworks and Siemens NX programs, which are widely used in the sector. In addition to workshop exercises, 5 axis cnc counter, internal combustion v-type engine, industrial automation experiment sets, various robotic machine parts, etc. designed and manufactured.
Our students gain new experiences by working in many areas such as Erasmus projects, Tübitak competitions, international robotic competitions and project competitions with the knowledge and experience they have gained from applied courses.

Our students visit various factories every year to get on-site information about the sector and the profession. During these trips, they observe the operation and production area of various departments of the business and learn about the sector.

We take part in the fairs organized in the fields of robotics, automation and machinery in order to closely examine technological developments, to follow the developments in the sector and to get to know the enterprises that have made new initiatives.

By doing their summer internships at the leading enterprises of the sector in and outside the country, our students reinforce their technical knowledge that they have learned at school by taking the occupational health and safety measures.

Our students, who graduated from the Computer Aided Manufacturing Branch, take their places as engineers who know manufacturing in a wide range of business branches such as defense, energy, automotive, machinery manufacturing, construction etc.
