We have qualified to participate in the regional finals, the second stage of the High School Students Research Projects Competition organized by TUBITAK, with 2 projects.
Our 11th grade student, İbrahim Emre Erden, researched the effects of smartphone addiction on subclinical atherosclerosis in adolescents through carotid intima-media thickness, with her project titled “The Effects of Smartphone Addiction on Atherosclerosis Predictive Vascular Wall Thickness”.
With a project titled “Do we speak Turkish?”, our 12th grade students Işık Örkmez and Neval Metin developed a game application for primary school children by conducting research based on concepts such as foreign language dominance in our language, use of technology in education and globalization.
The project evaluations at the regional stage will be conducted online in 12 regions from 3-4 April 2023. We wish success to our students who will represent our school and province at the regional stage, and to our advisor teachers who guide them.
