Parent Technology Agreement

Dear Parent,

At ENKA Istanbul Schools, we use digital platforms and technology tools to support our students’ learning, make access to information easier and help them use technology in a safe, conscious, and responsible way.

These platforms help our students follow their learning process and monitor their progress. Parents can also access these platforms to follow their children’s educational process.

We kindly ask you to read and approve the Parent Technology Agreement. This agreement includes basic principles about privacy of content and personal data shared in digital environments, safe use of technology and supporting our students in developing responsible digital behaviors.

SUPPORTING THE LEARNING PROCESS

• I know the purpose of the digital learning platforms used by the school. I use these platforms to follow my child’s learning process.
• I guide my child to use technology in a safe, conscious, and responsible way, according to their age and level of development.
• I support my child in completing their work with their own knowledge, skills and effort.
• I support my child in following the technology use rules set by the school.

PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

• I do not share photos, videos, audio recordings or other content shared on digital platforms on social media or other platforms. I respect the privacy of other people’s personal data.
• I support my child in protecting the privacy of personal information. I also set a good example for my child when using technology.

DIGITAL SAFETY AND CYBERBULLYING

• I guide my child on how to use technology safely in online environments, according to their age and level of development.
• I respect students’ privacy and personal data. I do not share information about cyberbullying incidents on social media or other platforms.

USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

• I guide my child to use artificial intelligence tools in a conscious and responsible way.
• I understand that my child’s work should include their own knowledge, skills and original contribution.
• I support my child in understanding that they should not enter their own or other people’s personal data into AI tools.
• I guide my child not to create or share fake content that imitates another person’s voice, image or video.
• If I come across fake content about my child or another student, I report it to the school administration without sharing the content again.
