The MakeX Robotics Tournament was held for the first time this year in Turkey at the Istanbul Congress Center on May 19 and 20, 2018. Forty-six teams took part in this competition.
MakeX, which operates mainly in China, is an international robotics tournament supporting STEM education with science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics, other multidisciplinary knowledge, and integrated problem solving.
Our Robotics team consisted of middle school students who competed individually and with other teams using the robot they designed and coded.
Only 11 teams out of 46 received awards. ENKA Schools’ Grade 5 Makers Team won the “Technology and Innovation Award” due to their success at the tournament.
We congratulate our students for their efforts and achievement. We wish them ongoing success.
