In the three-year-old group, our program is bilingual Turkish and English. In order to ensure our children’s first step to their education life at ENKA Schools is an enjoyable experience, two teachers accompany our students throughout the year. We support our children’s ability to act independently, which increases their self-confidence.

The English program has a very important role in our Pre-School since most of our students encounter English there for the first time. A comfortable environment, a professional team, and a rich learning program turn this into a warm and positive experience. The goal of the Pre-School English program is to create curiosity towards a second language, and to create an environment where the children can express themselves authentically in two languages.

The program includes songs, stories, activities, and learning through play, which are all a natural part of a child’s world.

As branch lessons, library, gymnastics, art, and music enrich the children’s learning.

In the four-year-old group we use detailed differentiated teaching in order to support our children’s individual growth and respond to their different needs. PYP inquiry units are implemented, where the children can make direct connections with their daily lives. With the help of activities based on active learning, we strive to raise curiosity in children towards learning. Learning through play is the cornerstone of the programme.

In this age group, a Turkish and English bilingual programme is implemented. The goal of the English programme is to create curiosity towards a second language, and to create an environment where the children can express themselves. Our students’ listening and speaking skills are improved. The programme includes songs, stories, activities and learning through play, which are all a natural part of the children’s world.

The branch lessons for this age group are library, swimming, gymnastics, art, music and English drama.

Our goal in the kinder group is to support children in a way that would allow them to grow in all developmental areas and to prepare them for the primary school. The PYP units in this age group encourage children to do research, to discover, and have new learning experiences. Basic skills are taught in our preparation for the reading and writing programme.

Maths, science, social sciences, language, music-movement and art activities are added to our programme in a balanced way.

In this age group the English programme plays a very important role. The goal of the English programme is to create curiosity towards a second language, and to create an environment where the children can express themselves. Our students’ listening and speaking skills are improved. There is a strong pre-reading programme in our school. Our students gain the necessary skills in this matter to prepare themselves for the elementary school both in English and in Turkish.
