Our Grand Accomplishment At TÜBİTAK Regional Final:
First Place In Sociology, Third In Maths

Two of our projects, which were selected for the regional exhibition of 53rd TÜBİTAK High School Research Projects Competition, ranked first and third places in the final.
With the mentorship of our Turkish Language and Literature teacher Hüseyin Ünal, our 11th grade student, Simla Çakan, came first in Sociology with her project in Sociology.
Simla is to represent our school with her project in the National Finals in Ankara. She researched the level of fulfilling the citizenship duties and responsibilities by young generation through social media, which she named “The Role of Social Media in the Perception of Social Justice and Active Citizenship by Generation Z in Digital Age.”
Our 9th grade student, Melis Kırca, came third in Maths in the Regional Final with the mentorship of our Maths teacher Tuna Batu.
With her project “Mathematical Modelling Example for a Solution to Forest Fires: Polygons as The Protector of Our Forests”, Melis came up with a mathematical modelling which could be a solution to forest fires raging both in our country and in the world lately.
We congratulate both our students and their advisory teachers on their success and wish our regional final winner good luck representing our school and region at the National Finals.
