Students from Adapazarı ENKA Middle School and High School participated in a rich three-day learning programme at the Nesin Mathematics Village in Şirince, İzmir.
In the heart of nature, this programme centred on the beauty of thinking, where our students experienced an interdisciplinary learning experience based on Mathematics, Philosophy and History.
In Mathematics classes with Prof. Dr. Ali Nesin, students questioned not only the formulas but also the logic behind thinking; they experienced the power of patience, curiosity and productive thinking.
In Philosophy workshops, they developed a culture of questioning, discussion, and listening to different ideas.
During their tour of the ancient city of Ephesus, they had the opportunity to bring together the wisdom of the past with the questions of today.
Left alone with nature, knowledge, and themselves in the simple atmosphere of the village, our students redefined the ‘boundaries of learning’ over three days.
This special experience offered our students an unforgettable journey that inspired them both academically and intellectually, strengthening their motivation to be curious, question and create.
Once again, ENKA students experienced that learning is possible not only in classrooms, but everywhere.
