Our 11th grade student Murat Yağız Ertürk won 2nd place in the Young Participation Project Workshop Idea Competition organised by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality with his project ‘From Sea Water to Fresh Water’.
This innovative project, which aims to use water resources in a sustainable and efficient way, includes a system design that makes seawater usable in agriculture. The project aims to convert sea water into fresh water by using solar-powered peltier elements and passive radiator systems. This system aims to reduce freshwater consumption in agriculture and contribute to environmental sustainability.
This important achievement by Murat Yağız Ertürk has been a promising step for future generations in terms of both environmental awareness and innovative thinking.
We congratulate him for this success and thank our biology teacher Hakan Gülçiçek and our 12th grade student Burak Güngör who supported the project. We hope that this success will inspire bigger projects in the future.
